"The restaurant quality was good and the location was even better. We tried the meal of the day and the Gricia main, and both were tasty. In addition, we ordered two Aperos that were served just right. Recommended!"

"We had a great experience at La Scaletta. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. We ordered rigatoni carbonara, house lasagna, roast chicken with salad, juice, and beer. The rigatoni was quite tasty, although a touch too salty for my taste, but it was still a tasty pasta dish. The lasagna was good, and the roast chicken was well-seasoned and cooked just right. The salad left a bit to be desired, being a small quantity and with few ingredients. It could have been more elaborate considering the price. Overall, it was a good experience."

"Very enjoyable restaurant. Must be good, because the restaurant was full and there was a queue to be seated on an off-peak Monday evening. Food was very good (recommend the meatballs), service good and prices reasonable"

"Very cute restaurant with the best All’Amatriciana pasta I have had in my life. The only annoying thing is that the menu is available via QR code only, so if you don’t have phone reception, it can be annoying. It would be great to have paper menus. Overall experience was lovely and the food was absolutely incredible! Will definitely be coming back!"

"Lovely Italian restaurant, Aurora was a great waitress who was very welcoming and looked after us all night. Arrived with a group of 7 and everyone was very happy with what they got and the overall experience. Great value for money and much better than a lot of other places we ate in during our stay."

"Great place! Excellent food and service! There are many restaurants in Trastevere and you need to be careful. This one is a good one and I highly recommend! You want to come to Rome and experience the freshness of its cuisine! La Scaletta is a good and authentic place! Always order an appetizer and a dessert. Not to mention a good glass of wine. Have the full gastronomic experience! You are in Rome!!! Enjoy the narrow and fun streets of Trastevere while eating good Italian food!"
